A pioneer in micromalt production in Quebec, they have been producing specialty malts since 2002: caramelized barley and wheat give color, caramel and nutty notes to our dark beers. They are also a supplier of raw wheat and oat flakes, giving texture, flavor and haze to some of our beers.

Malterie Caux-Laflamme

Malterie Caux-Laflamme is a malting plant in St-Patrice-de-Beaurivage, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. Driven by the microbrewing movement, the owners decided in 2014 to grow grain to grow grain and do their own malting on site.

The only malting plant in Quebec to roast grain, they are essential for imparting notes of cocoa, coffee and roasted cereals to Brasseurs des Collines beers. They also produce Vienna and Munich malts.

This Pontiac hop grower in the Outaouais region was one of the firsts to dare to tackle hop growing in Quebec. Since 2010, they’ve been growing 10 varieties of hops right here in our region, and since 2020, produce the El Dorado hops essential to the production of our Northeastern IPA.

A producer of Beauce hops, they are one of the pioneers of hop growing in Quebec, which had completely disappeared from our landscape in favor of mega-producers. They round out our offering of Outaouais hops with beautiful peppery notes, teas and tropical fruits from their crop

This Val-des-Monts beekeeper produces delicious, aromatic wildflower honey with passion and expertise. This honey imparts notes of cinnamon and clove to the beer, adding a whole new dimension to it.

Located in La Pocatière in the Lower St. Lawrence region, Le Labo is a producer and distributor of liquid ferments and cultures for brewing in Quebec. They have a fine collection of ferments that can be used to produce an infinite variety of beer styles.

It was in St-Luc-de-Bellechasse that a group of boreal herb enthusiasts decided to become producers of Quebec’s indigenous spices. Gatherers and growers, their herbs enrich a few of our beers with aromas typical of our terroir.

Salt isn’t often used in brewing, but for Gose it’s essential. Without this North Shore supplier, it would be impossible for us to brew one. Thank you Sel Saint-Laurent for producing the one and only Quebec salt from the depths of our great river.

At Moût International in Anjou, they don’t produce local ingredients, but have been proud partners of the brewing industry for over three decades. In doing so, they are distributors for many producers of Quebec malts and hops, enabling us to source Quebec ingredients under one roof.
